Idega software has in the last few years undertaken large and intricate projects where the affiliated parties have come together for a finalized solution. One such solution is eMember, the member system of the Icelandic Olympic and Sports Association. With users by the thousands, it houses every specialty sports association and their divisions as well as every practicioner from the Icelandic Youth Association. Another example is Golf.is, a solution for the Golf Union of Iceland and every golf club in the country.
The Idega eCampus housing services system that was built for the Icelandic Student Services’ Student Housing has also been implemented for BN Student Housing. Now, all student housing in the greater Reykjavik area is controlled with the aforementioned system.
Already, Idega Software is a leader in sales and services for electronic service portals and online service processes for municipalities. Municipalities that have implemented such solutions are almost exclusively Idega customers. Numerous service processes and interactive communications between municipalities and their citizens have been developed and implemented.
With the implementation of the Consumer Agency’s electronic service portal, which was opened in early 2007, an appealing and complete 24/7 ePortal for government institutions became readily available.
Numerous travel agencies utilize Idega’s stock control and booking systems for online purchases. Larger businesses have chosen to use the system for all bookings, whether online or over the counter.
